DJ James is the Music Program Director for WFCK Rocks and current resident DJ/Audio/Video Technician at Heartbreakers in Dickinson, Texas. He also does part time Mobile DJ work. With 26 years in the business and a love for 80's rock, WFCK Rocks programming is a nice fit. From an early age in middle school James had an interest in music, learning instruments as well as vocals that continued throughout high school and on into his young adult life playing guitar in bands. In 1990 (when rock music changed DRASTICALLY) he lost interest in playing in live bands and searched for something more fulfilling. Strip clubs provided a venue to continue to perform 80's rock in a different way as a DJ rather than a performer. Working with former band member and friend Steve (DJ Thor) in West Palm Beach, Florida, a new career emerged in the adult entertainment industry, as a strip club DJ.  Starting WFCK Rocks, is a result of the tremendous lack of quality 80's rock and metal no longer available on air in the Houston area.  Even, the big streaming companies on the net can't truly reflect all of the great music of the time.  James lived it and loved it, and remembers most of it. Now WFCK Rocks pays it forward for everyone to enjoy.
